Problem statement
Stasy had several business accounts in social media, but she needed a solution to showcase all her services in one place as well as an opportunity for customers to easily make a booking and maintain contact.

She also needed a logo as a strong visual representation of her approach.

My brief was to create a fully functioning and easy to navigate website that Stasy could update by herself if needed.
A competitive analysis revealed the strengths, weaknesses, similarities, and differences between competitors in the dance schools industry.

I reached out to 15 parents and carriers of the current school students to gain insights on their needs, motivations and frustrations to help shape the website solution.

Survey respondents broadly reflected the demographics of target users. Near 90% percent of them are mothers of girls up to 13 yo who are our target users.
I synthesized our findings and was able to create a customer journey and persona which were presented and discussed with the client. These exercises formed a great foundation to move into feature ideation and prioritization. According to the results from the previous step, the text prototype and then the main prototype were created and approved.
Typography, colours
The school already had a logo, but we needed to extend out the brand language. In a revision session with the founder, we examined the existing brand elements, deciding what to keep, what to change. I introduced new bold colors and font pairings to use across all media platforms, including the new website.
